We went with our parents for the 12.20pm show at Queensbay. Its a movie about a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great chef despite his family’s wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in the city of Paris. Remy forms an unlikely partnership with Linguini, the garbage boy, who inadvertently discovers Remy’s amazing talents. They strike a deal, ultimately setting into motion a hilarious and exciting chain of extraordinary events that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.

The word Ratatouille (pronounced Rat-a-too-ee) comes from "touiller," which means to toss food. Ratatouille originated in the area around present day Nice. It was, originally, a poor farmers dish, prepared in the summer with fresh summer vegetables.
