Event 1. SS Outing - There were about 56 of us so we took a bus and another 3 cars. Our bus left for Taiping at 8.00 am and stopped at Bkt Merah for short break. We reached the zoo at about 10.15 am. As we moved along in the zoo, the sky turned dark and the winds blew strongly. It started to rain well before we finished seeing all the animals and we quickly took shelter. Aunty Ching packed lunch for us which we took while waiting for the rain to stop before we made our way back to Penang.Part of our entourage at Taiping zoo.

Event 2. The Ladies Fellowship had their monthly meeting at our home at 4.30pm and aunty Melisa was the speaker.
Event 3. We followed aunty Melisa down to church for a surprise farewell buffet dinner for uncle Kevin & aunty Mi Mae, both of whom will be leaving us for US in November 2007.
