Night Swim & the Moon

Have you ever taken a night swim, especially when you can have the entire pool to yourself? Well, tonight was one of those nights when we plunged into the cold waters of BJCC pool. While dad & mum did their laps and they certainly need the exercise (he he!), we swam a few laps on our own and had our own fun time.

So what has the night swim to do with the moon? Nothing special except that tonight is the apex of the Mooncake Festival, when the moon is full, it is bright and round. Dad suggested that when we get home, we should roll out our chairs under the porch, boil some hot steaming chinese tea and eat mooncakes under the bright light of the 15th day of the chinese 8th moon. Unfortunately, that didn't happen... instead the 2 'fei lows' ended up having char koay kak for supper pula. So much for the swim.
