Home Schooling

Some teachers just don't get it or do they? Encased in their rigid, simple and perhaps small minds, education is so narrowly defined. There can be no education other than main stream schooling. If only they took time to find out more, if only they knew...

Herein lies some of the benefits of home schooling:
1) Vacations are extended field trips, plan your studies around your holidays
2) Morning devotion is encouraged each morning with weekly chapel service
3) There is always time to bake cakes
4) Learning at your own pace, be it fast or slow
5) Home chores may be called home education projects

Besides the reasons listed above, there are many more great reasons for home schooling. For example, more time for hobbies, the great outdoors are excellent for learning and mind stimulation. More time for music education. Research shows that a good music education stimulates creativity, builds confidence and enhances a child's all-round development. As the children matures, they enjoy enhanced social recognition because of their ability to listen, read, play and express their feelings through music. If only they knew!
