Then the food - Later that evening, we took the ferry 'Pulau Pinang' to Butterworth to aunty Ai's place and then for dinner at Ah Keat Seafood Restaurant along Jln Raja Uda. It is supposedly a popular and well-known seafood restaurant in Butterworth. There were 12 of us at the table with 6 dishes before us, some of which were fried porridge, mixed vege on hot plate, buttered prawns, shellfish ala Siam and a huge bowl of fish and what nots cooked in tom yam. Food cost came up to RM145.40 - everyone had their fill. There were lobsters too at RM20 for 100g, Alaska crabs for RM25 per 100g -- aunty Lean said we should come back for lobsters and crabs another day. There was also a collection of snakes, one of particular interest is a white (albino?) snake. Go google to find out more!
