Clap & Tap - Update 5

Michael's room-mates were practising with their musical instruments into the wee hours of the morning, guess it could not be for the solo night, which incidentally was last night. So, its either with the chamber orchestra or some solo performances during the concert. Should have taken out the cello and play along with them. And due to the ruckus, it was almost 3AM before Michael finally knocked off only to wake up 4 hours later at the break of dawn for the telephone call to dad and mum back home. LA time was 7AM and 10PM in Penang - Hi Dad ...hmmm, was that an american accent. Almost a week into the trip to LA, there was already a semblance of the accent in Michael's oral expressions. Mum thought so too when she spoke with him on the phone. Just needed to remind him to pack ALL his stuff back to the city.

Michael has met up with many new friends - did the post cards he took along come in handy? They will probably meet up again soon in the months to come when arrangements are being made to move the musicians in and around Asia and/or maybe Australia. Mr David Wen himself sounded excited when he was talking about the plans for Clap & Tap Chamber Orchestra the next 2 years into year 2011.

After breakfast will be the journey back to LA, to civilization, to the McD and the american fast food, to doing laundry. Guess the guys are just itching to finish the program by sunday afternoon and get on with fun and freedom to roam the streets of LA and Disneyland.
