Oak Glen Christian Convention Center, Yucaipa

Winter, spring, summer or fall, Oak Glen is one of Southern California's most scenic spots. The cool mile-high climate provides a beautiful change of seasons, unsurpassed in the area. Apple orchards cover the slopes laden with blossoms in the Spring and apples in the Fall.

The road leading up to Oak Glen is to the right. See the sign which is made of wood (pictures with compliments of Google Map)

This is located in the San Bernardino mountains at the 5200 foot level, just above Yucaipa and Beaumont in Southern California. In 1855, gold was discovered in the San Bernardino mountains. (click on the map above for a larger image).

This morning is the move up to the mountains, away from the city and surrounded by pine, cedar and oak trees and morning mist will surely be a refreshing time for all the musicians. It does remind one of places described in story books and seen in movies but rarely experienced by urban malaysians.

A bus will be picking up the musicians for this 2 hour trip and they will be there until 06 August before making their way back to Motel6 in preparation for the 2 concerts this weekend.
