Managed to get through to the Clap & Tap office and spoke to Michael at 7.19am. He is currently sharing room 209 with Chye Guan before they leave for Oak Glen on Monday morning.
Michael was called upon to check the zipper of his baggage which was found opened while Ray's baggage had to be re-packed at the Singapore terminal. Transit was 6 hours before boarding for the Sin-Narita sector. Flight and food on board was ok except for the Japanese noodles. Even though there was a slight delay in the Narita-LAX sector, the flight made good time to land ahead of schedule.
Lunch in LA was Thai food followed by Taiwanese course dinner later in the evening. Good thing they did not serve the infamous 'chau tau hoo'.
Michael managed to call home and talk to Ah Ma at 12noon (Pg time) whereas dad called to wish goodnight at about 11pm (LA time) and to remind him to call mum when he wakes up monday morning between 7 and 8AM (Pg time 10-11PM). Roaming was activated 2 hours ago for sms to and from home
