An Afternoon of Chamber Music

ARECA School of Music @ 2PM
Since Michelle had to go for her BM tuition at 2.30PM, dad went with me to this concert at Areca. Met CG at the entrance and was ushered to some front seats as AF introduced us to the afternoon's concert. A good crowd has already gathered by then and latecomers had to stand at the back.

A diverse selection of chamber music ranging from an arrangement of a Corelli concerto grosso to two of Pizzolla's alluring tangos. The centrepiece of the event is a rare performance of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 6. All in all, a chance to see the viola in a variety of combinations - with violin, cello, and other violas, as a chamber music instrument and in the spotlight as a solo instrument.
