The youths spent the last day of the year at CCC - plenty of food and as usual, their favourite Bar-B-Q. Some young adults came to join them for dinner and some spent the night there as well. Dinner was 'bad' in the sense we could eat almost the entire night, ha ha. Uncle Joseph spoilt us rotten when he came up a little later with ... drum roll, please.. 3 tubs of Baskin Robbins and a cooler filled with bottles of orange and grape juice.
We had a time of water bombs and when it was closer to midnight, we settled down for singing and prayers as the new year kicks in followed by more food and games. Many did not sleep until the wee hours of the morning between 3 and 4 am. Arm wrestling, chess, board games and football.
