Fame

We went to watch the 7.20PM movie 'Fame' at Gurney Plaza. It is a story of students at NY's famous High School of Performing Arts and their struggles, trials and efforts to succeed. There were young hopefuls going for auditions, with many rejected and the bittersweet graduation of those who have what it takes.

It kind of reminds us of our own struggles in our schools, the ups and downs and the hard work in the pursuit of our dreams. It was a good show with many things to learn, more so because SGGS is putting up this play scheduled from 16-19 April 2010.
