PSO 30th Anniversary Concert

Practices will be intensified this week with nightly practices at 7.30PM from Wednesday onwards with Prof David Wen and the solo flute by Ching Min Lin. We had our first sectional practice today for the winds, cello & viola with Mr Woon at Musica Viva. Not many attended though, possibly because of the school exams this week.

Tickets are difficult to sell this time round, seems like everyone is either busy with something or maybe they have had enough of orchestra for the time being. Even with posters at SGGS, there were no feeback on the concert ticekts as yet.

We had dinner with uncle J and Sylvain (a french speaking brother from one of the Switzerland Assembly) at the Thai restaurant, BJCC. He just flew in last Tuesday to set up a company in Penang and joined us for the Lord's Supper this morning and the gospel meeting. We bought a choc cake from EQ and had coffee and cake at home to celebrate my birthday tomorrow.
