Week 32

After church on Sunday morning, it was another 1.5 hours of accompanying work at Yamaha and C the flutist will be coming over at 5PM for her last half hour before the exam. Dinner was at QB@KR, had a free quarter chicken, compliments of JJ for dad's birthday.

04AUG - I was whisked off early Wed morn for the first and only accompanying work that day. Mum & Dad were on leave for sis's Hari Anugerah. She won first placing in her class and later on, her dance group performed some dance routine for the guests, including the TYT. Mum had to seek out Dr W for some medication after which we opened new SSPN accounts at Maybank G.

05AUG - I was off to Bayview again today for accompanying another 4 students. This is turning out to be quite an experience for me. Meanwhile, sis went off to Seberang Perai with her school's dance group for a competition, schedule at about 2PM. Sis was so poofed by the end of the day but she still managed to go for her ballet class - took a break on Friday to rest at home. Aargh, school on Saturday!

I have taken a 2 weeks break from orchestra practice with PSO. The break proved to be kinda refreshing. Could it be due to an overdose of 'music' over the last few months? Or the fact that many in the orchestra are also taking a break? On a positive note, we had some family time over dinner at Tg Bungah a week before, an impromptu shopping time at Pacific Komtar this week and just moving around in the car - talking, laughing and eating hum chim peng. Yeah, those times were outright fun, really!

Talking about impromptu, we did something out of the ordinary on Sat night too. YES - we actually went out with the sole purpose of having supper. Dad wanted to take us to QB but dad, there is a Subway outlet at E-Gate. So there you have 4 greedy souls (not necessary hungry), tucking away 2 foot-long roast chic and steak sandwich. mmmm... delicious and satisfying.
