We enjoyed uncle Peter Ferry's ministry message on Psalm 46 in the morning tying in to the days of King Hezekiah and the Assyrian seige. Tremendous lessons! Later that evening, he shared about the work in Phuket and for a man over 70 years old, he is still very excited and passionate about the work of the Lord there. Mum picked me up after BM tuition so we missed a little of his sharing. Dad & ko were there earlier for song leading and piano playing. We had dinner at BL - yes, the usual :)
25AUG was the drum workshop by Zak Bond at Gurney Hotel where he introduced the new Yamaha DXT950K electronic drum kit. It comes with new DTX pads, which are neither straightforward rubber nor mesh heads but from a Yamaha innovation, the Textured Cellular Silicon Head.
After youth meeting, we went to TGIF for dinner to celebrate mum's birthday. The quality of food and service has dropped compared to the good old days when they first started. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time together and ate till our tummies ache. Happy Birthday Mum!
