Week 36

On Sunday night, we had dinner at Longbeach with koko Richard & family who were in Penang for a holiday. Had a great time with them, Cass & Samuel as well. Monday night was the Yellow River cantata at DSP.

Tues was our SS picnic at CCC. Mum & Dad took the opportunity for a walk up to T Bahang, had breakfast before taking a bus back to BF @ RM1.40 per person. It was a splendid sunny day and the SS children had fun with the beach and water games on the field. Yes, the usual ice cream splurge for everyone after our lunch. Now, who can resist that?

The rest of the week passed by fairly quickly bc we were eagerly waiting to fly off to Singapore on Saturday. Packed already? Yikes -- hurry, hurry! We lugged along the MacBook too and it proved useful for getting information and online services. After confirming our online check-in, we had a little snack at McD as we had an early lunch on board Air Asia.

It was almost 1PM when we took lunch at a nearby Thai restaurant before checking out Peace Centre which is now more of a business centre. After checking into the Y, we made our way out to Plaza Singapura and to Ngee Ann City. Dinner was a local food court and packed Long John Silver's for supper.
