Lunch was nasi melayu at the Customs apartments. It was the wedding of the son of dad's friend... quite a mouthful just to pronounce it eh. Hopped over for a piano masterclass with a TG examiner, which is RM200 for an hour. Learned some valuable tips for some intrinsic playing and the program notes was fine by his standard. Went down to DSP for a wellness workshop organised by pessoc which was also very informative in terms of good techiniques for string players.
After our usual lessons on Tues, teacher R wants additional class on Wed & Fri. He has decided to change some of the playing techniques recommended by the TG examiner, so its going to be more hard work. That may mean no Bar B Q on Fri -- oh no! But that would mean i get to keep the box of Famous Amos cookies for myself, yahoo!
Saturday - need to change the watch & gate batteries, if only they could run, like forever. Manage to print the cover for the program notes at RM3 per piece of A3 size. After dropping sis off for her ballet, we went to Hit Recording Studio to install the logic studio. A little wait the installation was a breeze. Mum has to go to school today and on her way home, she bought Laksa for lunch, yum yum.
There will be a MPO chamber at Suffolk House (RM120 per pax) on Sat and MPO chamber at Town Hall (Students RM50) on Sun showcasing Foo Mei Yi, a world renown pianist. http://www.meiyifoo.com/
We had PH extreme cheesy 6 pizza for dinner. Service was terribly poor at QB so dad had to make his way around for cutlery, napkins, sauce & pepper. Bought myself a pair of AD dark blue pants, size 32.
