Wouldn't it be nice if you could travel to a distant place, spend a few days there, enjoy what the place has to offer and then, come home... tired with 3 loads of washing. Mum & Dad will need a day to recover from the holidays, ha ha.To all those who are travelling, travel safe & happy holidays.
We started our journey at about 3pm today and reached Klang just before 8pm. The day was cloudy and dad said it was a good day to drive. Our journey was interrupted for about half an hour because of a traffic snarl just after the Batang Kali exit, stretching almost 5km. An ambulance zoomed by the emergency lane, followed by a whole bunch of cars and trucks. By the time we reached the accident area, that part of the highway has been cleared up. We are not sure whether this could be the cause of the accident but just further ahead, the highway personnels were rounding up some stray cows.
We had dinner with uncle Hock, David and Li Ann's 3 children at a nearby eating place before going over to koko Richard's house to spend the night. Tomorrow is JOC Central at KLCC.
After having nasi lemak for breakfast, we made it just in time for our sound check at Plenary Theatre (PT), KLCC. M&D and Michelle went over to Isetan and Michelle bought 2 books from Kikokuniya. 2.30pm finally came and we went back to PT for the start of JOC.
The concert ended at about 5.30pm and it was Burger King for dinner. Went back to Isetan to pick up a shirt and Nike size 12 shoe for me. Then its time to head home at about 8pm (parking RM8.50) and we reached Penang just as Cinderella's coach turned back into a pumpkin. It has been an exhausting weekend, with the travelling and all, within 33 hours.
