Week 28

04 July was the 2nd day of the concert for pessoc (orchestral & chorus) which started at 4PM. The performance was a whole lot better as compared to yesterday, probably because we were all more aware of our shortcomings and have made the necessary adjustments. The pieces were different from those i have played before. Although there is a more sombre mood to the pieces, yet i found them interesting, if not, facsinating. Dinner was KR at QB, ate a whole half chicken in black pepper sauce, downed with glassful of toilet cleaner, ha ha.

Monday was our practice for RT's concert, starting at 7.30PM till past 10PM. We manage to try for the first time together, the piano trio with the violin & cello, Amazing Grace with Bach, an arrangement by a korean musician Sun Ahn. We came together again on Wed (7-9PM) & Fri (4.30 - 7PM)to polish up this ensemble to make it sound good.

Thurs was accompaniment day at Yamaha with a new violin G1 student (currently with michelle and a sax student). Unfortunately, this lady violinist is certainly not ready for her exams yet. Called TWW to enquire about her program for a piano ensemble in Sept 2010 with me on the cello, TWW on her violin but no pianist yet - Last Carnival transcribed by Norihiro Tsura.
